What is the Role?

The Front Office Provisioning Co-ordinator (FOPC) shall be primarily responsible for building of customer orders into our management systems and the timely placement of corresponding orders onto our 3rd party Telecoms partners such as Openreach, TalkTalk Business, SKY, Virgin Media and City Fibre. Knowledge of connectivity products such as Ethernet, OSA, PSTN, ISDN and SIP is required for high-level validation / delivery viability assessments to take place prior to orders being raised on our suppliers. FOPC responsibilities include working closely with Sales Support, Provisioning Order Managers and Project Managers for maintaining our delivery objectives through quality, clean orders being raised in a timely fashion with data integrity / accuracy of our own systems updates of paramount importance. Ordering of 3rd party services and associated off-net / on-net connectivity shall form the main part of the role, however the FOPC role is vitally important to our continuous improvement and change initiatives as we constantly look for ways to improve / quicken our processes to deliver the best possible experience to our customers.

To succeed in this role, you should have experience of ordering and managing the delivery of Ethernet and optical services from telecoms service providers and excellent time management and communication skills, as you’ll collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver results to deadlines. The ability to communicate clearly up to Senior Management level is essential, as is a working knowledge of Telecoms industry delivery processes as you’ll be handling orders for some of our biggest clients.

Ultimately, the Front Office Provisioning Co-ordinator’s duties are to ensure that activities assigned to them by the Delivery Management Team are completed on time and meet high quality standards to aid with our ambition to be market leading for customer service within our field.

What do I need?

You will have previous experience in a similar Telecoms Provisioning role with an understanding of networks and telecoms operators. We are looking for an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, with an excellent telephone manner, good rapport building skills and the ability to listen and understand. Strong organisation and problem-solving skills are very important. We are looking for someone with a pro-active and 'can do’ attitude and can work well in teams. Ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a high level of confidence in handling customer communications, dealing with queries, liaising with 3rd party suppliers whilst delivering World Class Customer Service.
