Salary: £25,421 – £33,577 depending on skills and experience

Working Pattern: Permanent | Flexible working patterns available 37 hours per week

What is the Role?

The main responsibility of the Project Co-Ordinator is to support the Programme Manager with the overall running and management and customer journey of the ED2 Customer Engagement Group (CEG).

This will focus on ensuring that the Ofgem RIIO ED2 Enhanced Engagement process runs smoothly and efficiently. The main function of the role of the Co-ordinator is to provide complete secretariat services to the CEG and will work closely with the CEG Chair, ED2 Programme Manager and all CEG Panel members, this will include all the logistics (incl travel, expenses, meeting rooms etc) to ensure the effective attendance and running of the meetings, all minutes, action and challenge logs and anything else required by the regulated process. In between sessions they will provide support to the ED2 Project and all members of the business that present to the CEG ensuring appropriate governance sign off is achieved for all presented material and that all actions and challenges are programmed and resolved on time.  The Project Co-ordinator will always provide an excellent customer service level and ensure they are delivering a quality service throughout to time and budget.  They will provide timely updates to the programme manager and business workstream leads. 

The Project Co-Ordinators will represent the networks business with customers & they may also be asked to attend SSEN stakeholder engagement events for the DSO business as well as representing on other customer-based projects including stakeholder and local authority engagement.  Sessions will be based across both our Licensed Areas and therefore travel will be required with overnight stays.

What do I need?

To be successful in this role, you’ll have experience and knowledge of the Networks business and be familiar with the RIIO process. Excellent communication and engagement skills (internal & external) along with admirable customer service knowledge is key in order to drive continuous improvements forward. The secretariat function of the role requires trust and a highly professional attitude.
