Job Title: Feedstock Manager – Anaerobic Digestion Plant

Location: Barkip/Ayrshire

Salary: £31,500 – £46,500 depending on skills and experience + car/cash allowance + annual bonus

Permanent | Full Time Hours

The Role

Reporting to the plant manager you will be responsible for sourcing and managing all feedstocks, as well as selling on the concentrated high nutrient end of process digestate.

You will have a shared responsibility to maximise the plants profitability, establish and manage contracts with feedstock suppliers and transport companies, and identify buyers for concentrated digestate. You will play a key and active role in ensuring the plant remains compliant and adheres to all environmental regulations, permits and accreditations.

Your Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you will either be educated to degree level, or have experience of equal value in waste management or anaerobic digestion. Due to your experience you will possess a good understanding of logistics associated with bulk solid and liquid wastes. Material handling experience would also be beneficial but not essential.

Awareness and knowledge of legislation, policies and procedures (such as but not limited to; Animal Health, SEPA environmental permitting and PAS110) would be beneficial.

You will have excellent communication skills and possess sound commercial and business acumen and excellent communication skills.
