Job Title: Electrical Craftsperson

Location: Lerwick Power Station

Salary: Up to £31,960 (SS04) depending on skills and experience

Permanent | Full Time Hours | 37 hours per week

Our Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Craftsperson to join our team, based at our Lerwick Power Station. In this role, you’ll report to the Electrical Technician, carrying out electrical and instrumentation maintenance on diesel generators, gas and steam turbines, boiler plant and all associated auxiliary plant. 

Our teams work 24/7 to ensure we are maintaining our network for our customers, with this in mind, you may be required to participate in standby duties for fault restoration work.

Your Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, we ask that you are a time served craftsperson in a relevant discipline and have experience working with industrial plant. You should have a high regard for safety and strive for customer excellence in all aspects of your work.
