As part of the SSE group, SSE Enterprise Contracting is also one of the UK's leading mechanical and electrical contractors delivering a service ranging from small re-wires to major design and build projects.

With workload increasing due to a number of on-going and forthcoming projects under the WSCC contract, we currently have an immediate requirement for an experienced labourer to assist our electrical and mechanical operatives. Typical role responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) work at height, manual handling, site rubbish disposal as well as assisting fire alarm system testing, emergency light testing etc.

In this role you will work under the direction from an electrical/mechanical engineer/supervisor but will be required to liaise with clients, sub contractors and suppliers as required.

To be considered for this vacancy you should have good communication and time management skills. You will need to be organised, able to work under instruction and also on your own initiative. You will be an effective problem solver, capable of team working and flexible. You should display good attention to detail and also be committed to improvement.
