Job Title: Digital Content Lead
Salary: Circa €65,000 depending on skills and experience + annual bonus
The mission of the Digital Services team is to deliver world-class digital customer experience for SSE Airtricity customers. We are responsible for both the day-to-day management and the strategic development of SSE Airtricity’s digital customer experience.
As Digital Content Lead, you’ll be responsible for the management of the Content Management System (CMS) underpinning the sseairtricity.com website, covering NI, Republic of Ireland, Home and Business Energy. You’ll support the production of engaging content, that is useful, interesting and meets the needs of the company and our customers. It will include help centre, product description and editorial articles in support of brand and product promotion and inbound marketing activity.
Key accountabilities will also include;
* Leading the creation of robust, lean content management processes and champion improvements within CMS to improve content quality management.
*Advising on test strategy for website content and approve test plans and appropriate coverage.
*Supporting the Digital Experience Product Manager in developing new features and providing all necessary related content.
* Responsible for ensuring that the website content is fully compliant with all legal and regulatory requirements and has been reviewed and approved by all key stakeholders.
*Support the Digital Technology Manager by providing assurance on content quality and content regression on major website upgrades.
*Ensuring correct configuration of Google Analytics, management of site tags and the creation of reports on website performance.
*Devising and implementing SEO strategy and ensuring content, linking strategy, etc. are aligned. Monitoring and reporting on SEO performance.
Your Skills and Experience
This is a key role within the Digital Services Team, therefore we need someone who is customer focused, self-motivated with a can-do attitude, and has strong influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to achieve results in a large, diverse organisation. You’ll have a proven track record of leading cross functional teams and working alongside other business disciplines. Strong stakeholder management skills will be essential, coupled with the ability to prioritise and manage conflicting expectations and deadlines across varying levels within the organisation.
Yes – You should have experience in CMS management, specifically Silverstripe CMS, and have a good technical understanding. Preferably, you will have experience in working as part of a cross-functional Agile delivery team.
