Salary: Up to €69,500 depending on skills and experience + benefits + annual bonus
The mission of the Digital Services team is to deliver world-class digital customer experience for SSE Airtricity customers. We are responsible for both the day-to-day management and the strategic development of SSE Airtricity’s digital customer experience. The UX Designer will play a pivotal role in the development of this vision that will realise our ambition to be a diversified retailer.
Reporting into the Head of Digital Studio, you will be responsible for integrating business requirements and technical enablers into the design process that includes research and design testing with customers to deeply understand their needs and ensure that the design balances the core needs of both our customer and the business. Working closely with the Digital Experience Product Lead, business owners and development teams, you will use your knowledge of customer insight to develop digital design which is intuitive and compelling. You will also work closely with our Digital Interface Designer, and together, you will bring solutions to life.
Other key accountabilities will include;
Leading product design and wireframe reviews, driving working prototypes, and proposing solutions to design integration Planning information architecture.
Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of User experience best practice and ensure project are aligned with this at all times.
Leading the processes around user research, concept testing, and usability testing; conducting competitive audits and market research, and converting findings into design decisions
Full involvement in all aspects of the development life cycle, from start up, through requirements analysis, design, implementation, and post production feedback
Design and implement A/B and multivariate testing
Plan and implement creative ways to collect and analyse information about customer behaviour that will lead to opportunities for product innovation
Create storyboards, wireframes, mock-ups, and experience prototypes to guide development.
Your Skills and Experience
As this is a key role within the User Experience Team, we are looking for a creative and innovative individual who is fully proficient in the latest design tools, e.g Axure, Omnigraffle and Fireworks. You’ll have proven experience in Information Architecture Design, Wireframes, Prototypes, UI pattern Libraries and usability testing, and you’ll also need to have a solid understanding of customer journeys, market research, consumer trends and customer personas.
