You will be responsible for engaging with internal and external stakeholders at various levels, conducting business readiness assessments and leading business impact assessments for Asset Operations. Asset Operations is responsible for managing Meter Events and Alerts, Asset Firmware, Price, Incident and Problem Management, and Release Management.

Supported by the Integration Team, you’ll work closely with project managers, business experts and leaders from across Metering to ensure a smooth transition of project-led change into business as usual. This will involve assessing the scale of process and organisational change, and developing plans to respond to the impacts of change. In addition, you’ll work with the business to coordinate implementation activity, acting as a key point of escalation for risks and issues.

You must have strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, be an excellent communicator and have a keen eye for detail. With an approachable and engaging manner, you’ll be the eyes and ears of the Asset Operations Leadership Team at programme meetings, project reviews and business meetings so strong written and verbal presentation skills are essential. You’ll manage business readiness plans and large volumes of data, using your analytical skills to offer recommendations to the business regarding benefits and value of the implementation process.

A good understanding of Asset Operations processes and supported systems plus previous experience of business change or business improvement initiatives would be preferred. A natural problem solver, you should be confident at developing and implementing processes and projects. Furthermore, you’ll show a flexible approach to your work and an ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
