We require a Business Implementation Manager to join the Customer Operations Integration Team. This role will be key to ensuring Customer Operations is ready to receive change being implemented by the Smart programme as well as internal and external projects driving change within our business. At the centre of the Smart meter rollout Customer Operations is responsible for resourcing, dispatching and managing multiple elements of the metering business as this crucial business unit will be impacted by change in the coming months and years.


As the Business Implementation Manager, you will be responsible for engaging with both internal and external stakeholders at various levels, conduct business readiness assessments and lead business impact assessments for Customer Operations. Supported by the Integration Projects Team you will work closely with project managers, business experts and leaders from across Metering to ensure a smooth transition of project led change in to business as usual.


Successful candidates will require excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail and an approachable and engaging manner. You will be the eyes and ears of the Customer Operations Leadership Team at programme meetings, project reviews and business meetings so strong written and verbal presentation skills are essential. You will be required to manage business readiness plans and will be required to handle large volumes of complex data and employ analysis skills to draw recommendations for the business to promote associated identified benefits and realise value throughout the implementation process.


You should have and understanding of a regulated business environment and have previous experience dealing with business change or business improvement initiatives. You should also have extensive experience of developing, improving and implementing processes and project delivery and be a natural problem solver. Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous. You should have the ability to adapt to quick changing situations, must be able to work on your own and be an effective team member whilst demonstrating a positive, flexible and motivated approach to your work.
