Smart Apprenticeship Data & Reporting Manager

3 year fixed term contract

£30,432 - £40,190 plus excellent benefits

As the Apprenticeship Data and Reporting Manager you’ll work within SSE’s Smart Metering ‘Smart People’ Programme Management Office (PMO). This is a new role created to ensure that we deliver all necessary criteria for candidates entering into the Smart Meter Operative Trainee scheme.

You’ll be responsible for the trainees who are undertaking the apprenticeship and will ensure there is a smooth handover once they come to the end of their formal training period. You’ll make sure that trainees are progressing well and will monitor their performance to guarantee that they achieve the additional apprenticeship portfolio elements. Importantly you’ll collate a record of individual evidence to support a successful End Point Assessment (EPA), and eligibility for apprenticeship funding.

In relation to the Trainee’s technical training and evidence of portfolio builds, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that data is accurate and retained appropriately. You’ll work widely across the Metering and Smart Transformation (MaST) structure with various stakeholders, particularly with the Learning & Development (L&D) teams. An additional element of the role will involve working as a member of the PMO team to support the delivery of a range of resourcing and assurance related activities.

We’re looking for someone who has strong experience of managing reporting and data, ideally with project management experience too. You’ll be an effective communicator and will be able to co-ordinate across different business teams. Knowledge of training or apprenticeship pathways would be advantageous but not essential.

In return we offer an excellent benefits package, including pension scheme, share save and share incentive schemes, generous annual leave entitlement, discounted energy, phone and broadband, plus a host of other lifestyle benefits.

Successful candidates may be subject to verification and vetting process which includes a basic criminal record check.
