We are a leading generator of renewable energy in Great Britain and Ireland. Our Renewables business is responsible for the development, construction and operation of SSE's renewable portfolio, including onshore and offshore wind and hydro. We have an opportunity for a Site Manager to join our windfarm based at Lowestoft.

Greater Gabbard wind farm consists of 140 turbines producing up to 504 MW of electricity with the operations and maintenance for the windfarm based in Lowestoft.

You will be responsible for all operations on site and the safe optimisation of power production. Your responsibilities will also include assuming full responsibility for performance and profit & loss. You will ensure all policies and safety systems are adhered to and be responsible ensuring maximum operational efficiency and availability for the wind farm.

To be successful in this role you will be educated to a minimum of HND level in an engineering or electro mechanical discipline and have demonstrable operational experience within a wind farm or power plant. It is essential that you have a good understanding of the asset integrity requirements for wind farm assets and an understanding of HV systems.

You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills to enable you to lead and develop your team and interact with colleagues at all levels of the business and across multi-disciplined teams.
