The Business Change team is responsible for helping the business own and lead change brought about through transformational programmes. Working with a structured change methodology, Business Change works with impacted business areas to develop strategies and activities to embed the change and manage resistance.

You will lead all required change activities in line with the Business Change Framework, ensuring deliverables are consistently applied and add value. You’ll manage the design, development and delivery of the approach, tools and templates across the business change disciplines. You’ll work with business implementation managers to determine an appropriate approach for each project. Furthermore, by influencing and working with the programme and business, you’ll ensure business impacts are identified and readiness planning is delivered successfully.

As a manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the business change community. You’ll ensure resources and workload are appropriate and will provide support and coaching wherever necessary to develop the team.

You should have substantial experience in managing transformation initiatives covering at least three end-to-end project lifecycles in complex change or transformation programmes.  You should be a subject matter expert with a strong understanding of best practice, project management and lifecycles, including knowledge of phase and gate review processes.

You should be well-organised, with good time management skills and an ability to work on multiple activities and to tight timescales.  You’ll need high levels of drive and enthusiasm as a Business Change professional and be confident in matrix-management of people and relationships.  Moreover, you should be a credible leader and a champion of change. Able to overcome resistance and apathy, you’ll be a problem solver who exercises tact and tenacity in the pursuit of goals.
