Effectively harnessing Data and Analytics will become an essential strategic capability enabling SSE to continue to operate and compete effectively in its markets and business segments. Due to internal growth we are looking for a Junior Analyst Programmer to join the Enabling Technology Development and Support team This team has focus over a number of Web based content management systems including SharePoint 2013, SharePoint Online, OpenText Content Server v10 and Meridio along with many Microsoft O365 products.
This position will initially focus on support for a number of Web based content management systems including SharePoint 2013, SharePoint Online, OpenText Content Server v10 and Meridio. You will be responsible for addressing 2nd & 3rd line support events and working with more senior members of the team for incident and problem resolution. We will ask you to diagnose and resolve problems with applications (both internal and third party) in the production environment and assist team members in the fixing of faults as appropriate. You will build upon your support skills to engage in a variety of application configuration and development activities. You will be involved in the generation of internally customer facing Web content and assist in a range of technical projects.
Skills wise we are looking for someone who has a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving and takes ownership of problems and requests seeing them through to a satisfactory resolution. The ability to deliver quality work to strict deadlines in a pressurised environment is vital for this role as is strong communication skills across all levels and mediums. Successful candidate will be keen to engage in a number of technologies and able to demonstrate a flexible and collaborative approach to work life.
