Due to continued growth and success of the performance team, we are looking to recruit two Quantity Surveyors to join our existing team, providing services across the South West Region (based at; Bournemouth/Poole, Salisbury or Southampton). The performance team are responsible for implementing commercial and contractual management both on Major project schemes as well as high volume low value projects. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficiencies are made whilst developing your experience within the team environment to develop new ideas and improve the performance of the business.

In this client side role, you will be responsible for contract management as well as, measuring and cost control on large value projects. You will provide excellent customer services and advice on procedures and contractual claims to internal and external customers and manage contractor payments and invoices. You will have the opportunity to manage all commercial aspect of the role, including change management, contract correspondence and costs on multiple smaller projects whilst having the support of the team and management to deliver success

To be successful, you will have previous experience or a qualification in Quantity Surveying and/or a similar field, as well as knowledge and experience of working within a commercial environment. Ideally you will have experience of working in a projects environment in either a utility industry. Alternatively we would welcome those with a background in asset intensive engineering environment with major projects or hold engineering knowledge.

Ideally your experience will include working across various types and forms of contracts including; fixed price, BOQ, target cost and time related rates. You will have the ability to report costs including forecasting, estimating, change management and claims. A current valid UK driving licence is essential as you will be required to travel and a company car through participation in our company car ownership scheme is included within this role.
