Due to expansion of our Rail business, we have an exciting opportunity for a number of Electricians to join us our projects in the Nottingham area.

We are seeking experienced Electricians who can carry out electrical Installation or Maintenance work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the current Construction Industry Safety Regulations and SSE Policies and Procedures. You will demonstrate detailed knowledge of electrical systems operating principle and be responsible for commissioning and testing Electrical Systems and Equipment.

To be considered for this role you will need and obtained a pass in the City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1 and 2 or 2351 or 2330 levels 2 and 3 or approved equivalent. Ideally you will have NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and/or servicing & maintenance work (or approved equivalent).  You must have obtained Achievement Measurement 2.

In addition you will have a thorough working knowledge of Industry Codes of Practice, relevant British Standards and Construction Industry Safety Regulations.

It is essential that applicants have a full, clean UK driving licence. Experience within the railway environment will be an advantage but is not essential as training can be provided. You will be required to pass a medical and a PTS certificate.
