You will be responsible for the delivery of asset portfolio risk management and performance reporting. You'll support the business with insight and reporting to monitor and maintain all metering assets throughout their life-cycle. This will include driving value and delivering future asset cost savings for the business, and ensuring compliance and best practice against regulatory and internal governance obligations. 

You'll analyse management information to support the development of a long term strategy to manage asset integrity, assessing the probability and consequences of meter asset equipment failure. You'll lead and manage meter asset portfolio related projects and develop a network of relationships across the business to promote the importance of asset management. Furthermore, you will oversee the ongoing risk management framework for Metering Assets, managing the processes associated with product defects and targeted removal programmes. 

You should have a good understanding of the energy market, specifically Legacy and Smart metering. You will show strong operational focus and the ability to link business and industry processes and changes with Asset Management. You should possess a detailed knowledge Risk Based Inspection (RBI) frameworks, asset lifecycle management, ISO 55001, and asset integrity (practitioner level). Competent in the use of Microsoft Office, you'll be capable of carrying out root cause analysis and identifying trends, impact and resolution. 

You should be articulate with effective communication and presentation skills and the confidence to influence and engage senior management on complex issues. Highly numerate, you should have good attention to detail. Moreover, you should be experienced in working to demanding deadlines within a pressured environment juggling a number of competing priorities.
