SSE Metering has grown significantly over the last five years to become a national business installing and reading meters, managing debt collection, large power metering and providing revenue protection services on behalf of SSE, distribution businesses and other suppliers. 

You will manage an existing portfolio of TPI's (Third Party Intermediaries), generating growth through negotiations and minimising financial loss through effective risk management. You'll work closely with TPI's, business development managers and internal departments to identify opportunities and win future business. You will also identify value added services for our clients and report into the BDM's to endorse a stronger company image. Improving processes and encouraging innovation to minimise costs and ensure completion of contracting work will be a feature of this role. 

With previous experience in TPI portfolio's, you should display commercial acumen and an ability to deliver sustainable growth for the organisation. You should have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and a collaborative working style. You will have a good working knowledge of commercial and business development activites, particularly TPI management and support, and be able to work in a complex, ambiguous environment, responding well to challenging and changing circumstances.

You will play an important role in growing the profitability of SSE Commercial Metering and Revenue Services, securing profitable contracts through TPI portfolio management, developing long term strategic partnerships with key customers as well as the products required to achieve market penetration. Hence you should have detailed understanding of Large Power, Warrant Services and Energy Theft.
